KMT26 Lock Nut

The slotted round nut type KMT can be locked by three brass inserts which are pressed onto the axle by setscrews. The main threads pitch continues through the brass inserts front to get a tight closure of the mould. The angle of 60 allows to adjust a possible axial run-out between the nuts contact surface and the shafts thread within the limits of the tolerances. Up to the size of KMT 15 M 752 the nut has additional flats to be tightened by a spanner.
